Slovenia

Adrijana, a most wonderful girl from a roma village, was one of the many who wrote me a postcard “home”.
I will post a slideshow of some of the new work with translated text here in the first week of June 2011.

Iztok Boncina for his huge help in guiding me around Slovenia, and his non-stop work as an translator, councellor and ambassador to this project.

He and I knew each other so little before this, I could easily have included him into the project by letting him write one of the cards. Iztok is the perfect example of someone breathing the true spirit of hospitality (towards a stranger like me), which is one of the main subjects of this project.
